Accra Girls Senior High School has received a new 23-cubicle washroom facility to help improve sanitation and hygiene conditions on the school's premises.

The facility, donated by a Ghanaian philanthropist known as Money Swagger400, forms part of efforts to address sanitation and infrastructure needs at the school.

The donation also included solar-powered CCTV cameras and a water storage tank, all funded through the philanthropist's personal resources.

Money Swagger400 explained that his decision to support the school was motivated by the need to improve infrastructure in educational institutions.

He noted that the government alone could not meet all the infrastructural needs of schools and therefore called for greater support from individuals and organisations.

He also encouraged old students, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other philanthropists to contribute towards improving facilities in schools to create a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The Headmistress of Accra Girls Senior High School, Gifty Andoh, expressed appreciation for the facility, noting that it would help address some of the school's sanitation needs.

She also encouraged other individuals and organisations to support schools facing similar infrastructure challenges.

Andoh urged students to use the facility responsibly and ensure its proper maintenance to benefit future generations of students.
