The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Jinapor, has led the leadership of the Ministry and heads of its sector agencies on a courtesy call on the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, in the Volta Region.

The visit forms part of activities ahead of the Ministry’s annual Energy Sector Performance Review Retreat, which brings together the leadership of the Ministry and heads of sector agencies to assess performance, address challenges and strengthen efforts to deliver on the Ministry’s mandate.

Dr Jinapor expressed appreciation to Togbe Afede XIV for the warm reception and commendation of the Ministry’s management of Ghana’s energy sector.

He said the traditional ruler’s encouragement had further strengthened the Ministry’s resolve to improve performance and contribute to national development.

The engagement highlights the importance of collaboration with traditional authorities and other stakeholders as the Ministry works to strengthen Ghana’s energy sector and advance the country’s broader development objectives.
