The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dormaa Central Constituency, Dr John Kwame Adu Jack, has appealed to his constituents to exercise patience as he is busily lobbying for development projects aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of the people.
Dr John Kwame Adu Jack revealed that he has been engaging relevant stakeholders, development partners and other relevant institutions to secure projects and resources that would respond to the pressing needs of communities within the constituency.
According to him, although constituents might expect immediate results, some development projects could not be secured overnight, as they involve identifying priority needs, engaging the appropriate authorities, securing funding and completing the necessary administrative processes.
The lawmaker made the appeal during a recent visit to the constituency, where he interacted with constituents as part of efforts to account for his stewardship and brief them on initiatives and interventions being pursued to advance development in Dormaa Central.
“I recognise and understand the concerns of my constituents, but I want to assure you that I am working tirelessly to attract development projects to the area. I am confident that our efforts will soon yield tangible results, and I therefore urge you to remain patient and continue to support the development agenda,” he said.
The engagement provided the MP with an opportunity to listen to the concerns of residents while outlining some of the steps being taken to address their developmental needs.
He disclosed that his priority is to ensure the constituency benefits from projects with a lasting impact on residents' lives, particularly in areas such as roads, education, healthcare, employment, and other essential social infrastructure.
“As the Member of Parliament entrusted with the mandate of the people, my foremost responsibility is to champion initiatives and attract development projects that will improve the lives of my constituents”.
Adu Jack urged the residents to continue supporting his efforts, assuring them that he is firmly committed to making the constituency's development a major priority.
