A truck loaded with timber reportedly overturned at the Achimota CP Roundabout in Accra, spilling its cargo and disrupting traffic in the busy area.
According to a UTV Ghana report on X on August 31, 2026, the blue truck involved in the accident was captured resting on its side along the grassy verge beside the roadway.

Large stacks of light-coloured wooden planks and beams were also scattered across the ground and under the vehicle.
Broken glass, believed to be from the windscreen, was also seen on the asphalt near the overturned cab.
Some eyewitnesses, including a police officer, were also captured standing nearby, watching the wreckage.

The accident, the report added, has led to traffic disruptions in the area.
