The Managing Director of the Cocoa Marketing Company CMC, Dr Wisdom Dogbe, has admonished members of the St Teresa’s College of Education Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the NDC, to exhibit and uphold the values of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking at the handing over ceremony of the college’s TEIN executives, Dr Wisdom Dogbe said “TEIN is the training ground where the next generation of legislators, ministers, diplomats, technocrats, educators and even future Presidents are moulded. TEIN is not merely a student wing, it is the intellectual heartbeat of our great party. It is the platform for growth and mentorship.”

He emphasised that he had made it a personal principle that no team he builds, no initiative he champions, no decision-making table he sits at, is complete without the energy and creativity of young people.

Dr Dogbe admonished the TEIN members to pursue unity since, “when TEIN is united, NDC is strong and the country benefits. In the ever-evolving realm of politics, the influence of youth and education cannot be underestimated. The Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) at the tertiary level, have played a critical role in NDC. TEIN-NDC has been active in Ghanaian politics for several years, playing a crucial role in campaigns, particularly in universities."

St Teresa’s College of Education, an all-female institution, was established on November 1, 1961 with 35 pioneer students drawn from all the then nine (9) regions of Ghana.

The college was founded by Rt Rev Anthony Konings of blessed memory, who was the Bishop of Keta Diocese.
