Zabzugu NDC praises President Mahama's appointment of Nat Acheampong at BOST

President John Dramani Mahama has been commended for appointing Nat Salifu Acheampong as the new Deputy Managing Director of BOST Energies.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, reacting to the appointment, the Zabzugu Constituency Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) praised the President for elevating one of its citizens to a strategic national position.

The party described the appointments as a clear demonstration of the President’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding dedicated, competent, and industrious party members who have sacrificed tirelessly for the NDC’s cause.

“On behalf of Hon. Alhassan Umar, MP for Zabzugu, the Constituency Executives, and the entire constituents, I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your appointment of Nat Salifu Acheampong as Deputy Managing Director of BOST Energies and Lawyer Khalid Abdul Rauf as Board Chairman of the VRA Resettlement Board.

“These appointments are a testament to your commitment to recognizing and rewarding hard work, competence, and dedication. Acheampong’s appointment is particularly significant, given his roots in the Yelzoli traditional area and his potential to contribute to our constituency’s development. Lawyer Rauf’s leadership at the VRA Resettlement Board will undoubtedly drive progress in our community,” parts of the statement read.

Nat Salifu Acheampong, formerly the Corporate Communications and External Affairs Manager at BOST Energies, was elevated to the Deputy Managing Director role following the reassignment of Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, who was appointed Acting Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission.

Salifu Nat Acheampong is an experienced corporate communications and brand strategist with over 20 years in journalism and corporate communications.

He has served at BOST Energies for the past 12 years. Prior to joining BOST Energies, he was the Media Relations Executive at Heathcote School in Chingford, London.

Acheampong also worked as a Lecturer and Communications Manager at New College Nottingham (NCN) and High Pavement Sixth Form College in Nottingham, England, where he taught media studies.
