Scores of youth at Kpone, within the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, took to the streets on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to protest deteriorating roads, persistent water shortages, and unresolved land boundary disputes plaguing their community.
Dressed in red and black attires, the protesters, under the banner of the “Enough is Enough Demo,” marched from Kpone School Junction through the CHASS Oil Tanker Depot, to the Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly.
According to a graphic.com report, the youth carrying placards and banners, demanded urgent government action to address the pressing issues stifling economic activities and worsening living conditions in the area.

The demonstrators highlighted the deplorable state of roads, exacerbated by recent heavy rains, as a major barrier to transporting goods and services.
They also decried the unreliable water supply, which forces residents to depend on costly and sometimes unsafe water sources.
“The poor road network is making it difficult for us to transport goods and services, while water scarcity is forcing us to rely on expensive and sometimes unsafe sources,” one protester lamented.
