Assembly member calls for unity

Essam (E/R), Dec. 12, GNA - Mr. Reginald Sackey, assembly member for Essam in the Birim Central Municipality, has called for unity among the people in the electoral area. This, he said, would ensure the speedy development of the area. Mr. Sackey, who was speaking in an interview, said it was only through unity that the area could develop and appealed to members of unit committee to perform their duties efficiently and eschew petty squabbles.

The assembly member commended the people for their communal spirit and called on the other surrounding communities in his electoral area to emulate Essam's example. He said some communal activities had been lined up and called on the people to fully participate in them. 12 Dec. 08
