Gomoa-Panfokrom Women's Institute PTA extends school's assembly hall

Gomoa-Panfokrom (C/R), Dec. 24, GNA - Extension work on the assembly hall of the Panfokrom Women's Training Institute in the Central Region, is underway at Gomoa-Panfokrom.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency after inspecting the project, Madam Rebecca Ampah-Korsah, Headmistress, expressed gratitude to VALCO and the Agona District Assembly for donating 80 bags and 50 bags of cement, each, towards the project.

According to Madam Ampah-Korsah, the project would cost over 500,000,000 cedis and appealed to all well-wishers, especially past students, and Non-Governmental Organizations to come to aid of the Institute.

She said the project was among a number of development projects being implemented towards the golden jubilee anniversary of the institute next year.

Madam Ampah-Korsah also extended a special call to parents whose children are currently pursuing various vocational programmes at the Institute, as well as the Awutu-Effutu-Senya, and the Gomoa District Assemblies to support the management and the PTA with cash and building materials to complete development projects initiated by the PTA. She commended the government for expanding access to basic education and called for the provision of additional infrastructure to enable it to achieve its targets in education delivery. 24 Dec. 06
