Youth urged to be morally upright

Akim Oda (E/R), May 7, GNA - The youth have been urged to guard against immoral behaviour and persistent acts of indiscipline because they risk compromising their future.

Reverend Dr Daniel Tamakloe Doe, General Overseer of the New Jerusalem Healing Church said teenagers, young men and women, who joined bad companies, stood to lose greatly if they persisted in such behaviours. He said when he preached a sermon at the Church's branch at Akim Oda. Rev Dr Doe stressed that 93unless the various organized groups, including counseling associations conduct intensive education among the youth, the country's future will hang in the balance."

He said the future of the country rested on the youth and 93any bad seed you sow today will definitely bounce back to you with devastating results." Rev Dr Doe noted that the development of the country was under great threat and it was necessary for the youth to grow up with a sense of discipline and hard work.

The General Overseer also advised the youth to be guided by a sense of sacrifice and adopt workable principles so as to promote effective community participation in the school.
