Youth For Leadership Congratulates President John Mahama

We wish to congratulate you President John Mahama on the occasion of your ascension to the high office of president of Ghana and leader of the National Democratic Congress. Deep in our hearts we are proud of you. We continue to believe in the school of thought which reasons that, the youth can live up to any challenge when given the opportunity.
You have ultimately reached the apogee of your or any career by becoming president. We not only drawn inspiration from your humility, patience and dedication to work, but also have learned from your events leading to your assumption of office that, it is only God who appoints or makes leaders and kings. We therefore continue to pray with you and call on all Ghanaians to support you complete not only the remaining terms of president Mills, by which time you would have garnered enough experience to serve your own term come 2013. By this letter, we are adding our voice to those who believe that the NDC congress should unanimously endorse you as the flag bearer of the NDC without fail or delay.
It is our wish and desire that you succeed. We are therefore calling on you to strive hard to overcome the obstacles that prevented your predecessor from achieving the peace and unity in the NDC which we believe the humble professor so much desired. Let your presidency build a healthy relationship with the founder of our great party which will seal all cracks if any in the party as we prepare for the upcoming elections. A great deal of euphoria and energy awaits your campaign should you succeed in this quest.
We also edge you not to hesitate to weed out all the elements that made it difficult for the former president to succeed in his quest not only to succeed in uniting the party, but also maintaining a firm grasp over his government. We believe you are the best person to do this. Your previous position of vice president offered you the best “note taking” role. Now that you are commander in chief, you can best act to re-direct the NDC and offer the best for mother Ghana.
