Women's Lifestyle Expo Ghana set for October

The TRUTH Marketing Communications, an emerging marketing communications and events management company is set to host its maiden edition of the Women's Lifestyle Expo Ghana at the Alliance Francaise.

The two –day event which spans October 9-10 October is being organised in collaboration with the African Women's Entrepreneurship Programme (AWEP), a fun-filled event specially tailored to bring together businesses and individuals to market products and services targeted at women.

The Expo would afford and provide businesses and individuals the unique opportunity to have personal and direct interactions with women who represent the majority of their target market.

The event dubbed: "The 360 Degree View of the 21st Century Woman - The Past, Present and Future," would be in the form of exhibition and sales, free talks, fashion shows, cooking contests, free health screening and product tasting.

According to the event organisers, visitors to the event would enjoy free makeovers, free spa treatments and salon services and enjoy great discounts and massive sales on assorted products and services.

The event Director Nana Adjoa Dankwah, explained that, ‘‘ the expo will provide a unique, convenient and relaxing time for visitors to learn and indulge in latest trends in fashion, beauty and skin care products, women's health and reproductive health and to shop in the market place of unique products & services’’.

She added that the Women's Lifestyle Expo Ghana would be an annual event that would bring together an extensive variety of services and products aimed at today's woman and a fun event every year for women of all ages across the country.

The President of AWEP Ghana Chapter, Mrs Comfort Adjaho - Jennings said "AWEP is excited to partner the Women's Lifestyle Expo Ghana as we see the event as an excellent platform to not only share success stories of women entrepreneurs but also to educate women, especially the young ones on entrepreneurship".

Adjaho- Jennings said AWEP is not only limited to partner the maiden edition but subsequent ones as it intends to use the platform to promote emerging female business owners to gain more visibility for themselves and their products.
