Woman 25, faces divorce over 'flirting' text messages

An unnamed 25-year old housewife is on her way out of her matrimonial home at Akyem Wenchi Old Town in the Eastern Region after it was discovered that she still keeps in touch with her ex-boyfriend.

To add insults to injury, her husband Nana Osei Kofi, shockingly discovered that his spouse saved his name “’Naasei” while his rival was “My Love”

According to Naasei, he realized that each time he tried using the phone of his wife, she becomes apprehensive and is not always in the right frame of mind suggesting to him the latter could be concealing something sinister.

He therefore played it cool until he was greeted with the unthinkable when she tried going through the cell phone to find out what actually her beloved wife could be hiding.

“One day, I took her phone secretly when she was asleep and tried to cross check her chat contacts. You won’t believe what I saw on her phone,” he told Koforidua-based Bryte Fm.

“While my number was stored ‘Naasei’, she stored her ex-boyfriend’s number ‘My Love'”, he revealed.

Nasei said after reading lovely chats via text messages between her wife and the ex-boyfriend, he decided to confront but to his utter dismay, the wife admitted and indicated to him that it is extremely difficult to forget her ex-boyfriend because he was her first love.

“So I asked her to prepare so we could annul the marriage customarily this Friday. I was expecting her to say sorry to me but seems to have no regrets for her conduct. So we will be having our marriage annulment this Friday,” Nasei ended.
