VCC congratulates Asantehene on his 60th birthday

Kumasi, May 3, GNA - The Ashanti Regional branch of the Voltarian Coordinating Council (VCC) has sent a message of congratulations to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. A statement signed by Togbui Mawufeame Fugah, President of the Council praised the Asantehene for his tireless efforts at bringing development to the people.

It mentioned his push towards the promotion of education and health and said these were commendable.

Added to this, the statement said, was the leadership he is providing to help rein in chieftaincy and land disputes in Asanteman. The Council pledged its continued support for the development programmes initiated by the Asantehene. The statement urged Ghanaians to bury their differences and live in total harmony for sustainable development of the nation. 3 May 10
