Three-day Prayer Crusade held at Awutu Beraku

Awutu Beraku (C/R) July 26, GNA - The Winneba Anglican Archdeaconry of the Cape Coast Diocese of the Church has held a three-day Crusade during which prayers were said for God's guidance for the President, the Vice President, the government and prosperity for the nation. The Archdeaconry is made up of churches from Winneba, Agona, Gomoa, Buduburam and Kasoa.

Preaching at the Crusade, Venerable Emmanuel Kobina Obemah, President of the Archdeaconry, urged Christians to avoid all forms of negative tendencies that are inimical to the words of God. He asked Christians to always preach for peace in the country since no country could develop without peace.

As part of the Crusade, house-to-house evangelism was undertaken and new souls were won for the Lord.

An amount of seven million cedis was collect in aid of the construction of some church buildings and mission houses in the Archdeaconry. 26 July 05
