Tema branch of CILT swears in Interim Executive Committee

Tema, March 5, GNA - A six-member interim executive committee for the Tema branch of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) was inaugurated on Thursday with a call on the committee to help maintain the high standards already set.

The Committee has Mr Sam Adjei Kumi, Manager of the Golden Jubilee Terminal, as its Chairman, with Naa-Densua Aryeetey, Manager of the Tema branch of the Ghana Shippers' Authority, as his Vice. The other members are: Mr Lackson Legah (Secretary); Mrs Berlinda Kuzagbe (Treasurer); Mr Simeon Gyewu (Education and Training Officer) and Mr Ephraim Asare (Organizer).

Mr Cletus Kuzagbe, President of CILT, Ghana, who made the call reminded the executives that since they had accepted the challenge to work to move the branch forward and put it on a pedestal to be seen and recognized, they were duty bound to go about their duties with zeal, determination and dedication.

Mr Kuzagbe advised them to come out with interesting and educative topics on current and relevant issues that would benefit members, in order to whip up their interests. He also advised them to live above reproach, and endeavour to abide by the Constitution of the Institute. At their induction, the interim executives, who would be in office for six months, pledged to uphold, preserve, protect and defend CILT's Constitution at all times. 5 March 10
