Madam Arthur said 200 out of the 300 members were active in the market but regretted that most of them had not been paying their dues as expected.

She disclosed that to raise the standard of the society, it had increased the dues from 1,000 cedis to 5,000 cedis and appealed to members to encourage their colleagues in the collection of bowls of fish to generate revenue for the society. Madam Arthur appealed to well-to-do members to assist their needy colleagues to improve on their standard of living.
