Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP salutes hardworking Ghanaian workers on May Day

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency in the Western Region, George Mireku Duker has saluted all hardworking Ghanaian workers on May Day for wonderful work done for this country.

In a statement issued by the Office of the MP to commemorate the Day and copied to Daniel Kaku, indicated that great nations of today have achieved successes as a result of hardworking.

"All over the world, the great nations we see and hear of today achieved such a milestone greatly as a result of the work done by her citizens and we must continue to pay our dues towards our nation’s development through hard work in all our field of endeavors", the statement read.

The statement, therefore, urged the Ghanaian youth to venture into agriculture and contribute their quota to the development of this country.

"I humbly use this medium, to call on our teeming youth to also venture into Agriculture & the numerous entrepreneurial opportunities in our country so they could contribute their quota to National Development", the statement emphasized.

The statement commended the Akufo-Addo's government for boldly implementing the Free SHS, NaBCO, Planting for Food and Jobs, reduction of import duties, revised minimum wages among others to alleviate burdens on some Ghanaians.

The concluded that "Let us all show up good attitudes towards work in all our fields of endeavor as we seek to achieve the Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda".

HON. GEORGE MIREKU DUKER(MP) WISHES ALL GHANAIANS A HAPPY WORKER’S DAY

The honorable Member of Parliament for the good people of Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku Duker on this occasion of International Worker’s Day wishes all Ghanaian workers a happy worker’s day.

On the existing protocol established, he wishes all gallant workers within the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency a special happy worker’s day in their efforts in building mother Ghana.

All over the world, the great nations we see and hear of today achieved such a milestone greatly as a result of the work done by her citizens and we must continue to pay our dues towards our nation’s development through hardwork in all our field of endeavors.

Today, we thank a hardworking government in place making sure the ordinary Ghanaian worker’s living conditions are better than ever and seeking to progressively make it best as time goes on.

The bold implementation of Free SHS, NABCO, Planting for Food & Jobs, reduction of Import Duties, revised minimum wages among many others have immeasurably alleviated to a greater extent burden on the Ghanaian worker and on businesses.

The current NPP government is on records to have created a lot of job opportunities both in public & private sectors but the international canker of unemployment is still a problem in our country of which graduate unemployment is at its highest.

I humbly use this medium, to call on our teeming youth to also venture into Agriculture & the numerous entrepreneurial opportunities in our country so they could contribute their quota to National Development.

Finally, challenges are bound to show up in all form of complexities among any human establishments and I humbly call on Ghanaian workers to at anytime make their grievances known to the government through their various labour unions.

Let us all show up good attitudes towards work in all our fields of endeavor as we seek to achieve the Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda.
