TOTAL donates towards Press Freedom Day

Mr Isaac Brewu, Manager of the Total “Two” fuel station, has donated some items towards the Eastern Regional celebration of World Press Freedom Day in Koforidua.

The items included 10 boxes of Aquafill drinking water, 10 cartons of soft drinks, five cartons of Guinness and five cartons of Schweppes malt.

Presenting the items, Mr Brewu said the gesture was part of his business’ social responsibility to the community.

According to him, he had been a friend of the media for a long time and supported all media activities in the region.

Mr Brewu urged journalists to give accurate reportage on the on-going Supreme Court case to promote peace.

Mr George Larbi, Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalist Association, expressed the Association’s gratitude to Mr Brewu for his continuous support.

He pledged the Association’s commitment to accurate reportage to avoid chaos in the country.
