Start In Ghana Investments honours ace journalist

The News Editor of the Daily Guide newspaper, Alhaji Abdul Rahman Gomda, has been honoured by the Start in Ghana Investments for promoting good relations between Ghana and Nigeria through his writings.

During an award presentation ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Start in Ghana Investments, Mr. Yahaya Alhassan, described Alhaji Gomda as “a renowned writer whose skills promotes shared development for the two West African giants”.

“On the humanitarian front Alhaji has been instrumental in ensuring that how funds are efficiently and fairly used to benefit women and children in northern Ghana”.

Mr. Alhassan stressed that promoting unity and friendship is what is missing in our educational curriculum and he therefore, called on the Ministry of Education to take a second look at that.

He urged the Ghanaian media to explore the growing business momentum between Ghana and Nigeria to attract investments to both countries.

He stressed that Start in Ghana Investments, which promotes business relations between Ghana and Nigeria has programs for Ghanaian business persons who are willing to extend their businesses in Nigeria.

He congratulated the acting Nigerian Commissioner to Ghana, Adekunbi Sonaike Ayodeji, for initiating a media sensitization conference to protect the rights of Nigerians in Ghana.

On his part, Alhaji Gomda expressed gratitude for the award and said that Ghana and Nigeria have many things in common that makes us one and the need to work together for the common good.
