St John Ambulance supports STRATCOMM Africa

The St John Ambulance, Ghana, has donated First Aid Books to the library built by the Centre for Development and Inter Cultural Communication (CEDRIC), a subsidiary of STRATCOMM Ghana, located at Komenda.

Some of the books presented to the Centre were titled: “Early Years- First Aid”, “Emergency Aid” and “Community First Aid”.

Speaking at the presentation in Accra, Mr Kwame Apedzi, Chief Executive Officer, St John Ambulance Ghana, said the books were to help inculcate in the young ones the importance of First Aid.

He urged parents to invest in their kids, and also educate them on the crucial roles of First Aid in the preservation of human lives.

He commended the Centre for constructing the library for children in Komenda to enhance their learning abilities.

He expressed the readiness of the Centre to support any institution which would require training or support in the area of First Aid.

Receiving the books, Mr Charles Mensah, Project Coordinator of CEDRIC, expressed appreciation to the donors for the assistance towards its library project, and pledged to ensure good maintenance of the books.
