Space Fm ”Agyanka Daakye” Project donates to orphans in B/A

The much touted Space Fm Annual May Day Orphan project dubbed ”Agyanka Daakye” has donated food items, cash, washing detergents and bar soaps, bags of rice and curtains of cooking oil as well as clothing worth over Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (10,000) to three orphanage homes in sunyani.
The beneficiary orphanage homes including Compassion Is Love in Action at Yawhima near sunyani, Hanukkah Childrens home at Baakoniaba and Alafia foundation Ghana children’s home at Abesim.
The donation is in fulfilment of Space fm and its listeners made to the orphanages that every May Day the station will together with its listeners will come to their aid to alleviate some of their burdens.
The items including an amount were together presented to all the homes the station visited in sunyani.Presenting the items on behalf of the Station, a Director of Space fm, Mr.Ransford Antwi disclosed that ” we are glad we have been able to do this in fulfilling the promise together with our listeners made to the homes
Another Director of Space fm Mr.Kingsley Osei Bonsu (Zico) also advised the caretakers of the items to ensure they are well kept and preserved to last
Scores of people accompanied staff of Space fm to distribute the items in three separates destinations.
”Agyanka Daakye” was four months promotional programme with activities such as pool party at the Glammossay hotel in sunyani to climax the project.
