Sokoban residents threaten massive demo over bad roads

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon Simon Osei Mensah, Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso Constituency, Hon Kennedy Kankam and government have a one-week ultimatum hanging around their neck to fix their bad roads or face massive demonstration.

The residents are fuming that the Constructor, Kofi Job Construction Limited, has abandoned the project.

According to them, a bridge linking Sokoban and Ahodwo has equally been abandoned bringing serious hardship on commuters, especially school children and the aged.

To this end, they have threatened to embark on “Fix Our Roads” demonstration against the authorities.
