Salaga South MP supports students with GH¢68,726 educational assistance

The HB Braimah Education Foundation LBG, established by the Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, has disbursed a total of GH¢68,726.97 to support students in the constituency with the payment of academic user fees.

The support is intended to ease the financial burden on students and help them continue their education at various tertiary and professional training institutions.

Beneficiaries were drawn from institutions including the University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Coast, Savannah College of Education, Kpembe Nursing and Midwifery Training College, and Nkanchina Community Nursing Training College.

Speaking on the initiative, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah stressed the importance of education to the development of the constituency and the country at large.

“Education is one of the key tools needed to help improve lives and support the development of Salaga South. We want to ensure that students facing financial difficulties are able to continue their education,” she stated.

The Foundation also indicated that it intends to continue supporting educational programmes in the constituency in the coming years.
