Sakumono Assembly woman calls for unity

Tema, Oct 8, GNA - The re-elected assemblywoman for the Wolei Electoral Area at Sakumono, Mrs Adwoa Amoako, has urged the electorate to be united and offer ideas and plans that would help develop area. She said she would not let them down and called for support from the people to enable her to discharge her duties satisfactorily. Mrs Amoako, who spoke to the GNA, expressed her gratitude to the electorate for re-electing her and said her re-election would not only allow her to continue with her work but would also embark on other projects.

She said KVIP, computer laboratories for schools as well as 10-seat water closet for Sakumono were some of the projects she executed during her first term.

"I intend to maintain the area's streetlights through self help to ensure security in the area, to tar roads and built drains." Mrs Amoako said funds would be sourced from residents as well as companies operating in the area because funds for the project has been a problem.
