Retired fire personnel association in Brong Ahafo gets an office Gift

Mr Kwame Larbi Apraku, Assistant Chief Fire Officer of the Brong Ahafo Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service(GNFS), has officially handed over a fully furnished office to the retired fire officers Association.

The single room office located at the regional fire headquarters was handed to the association at a durbar in Sunyani.

Mr Apraku expressed happiness about the large number of retired fire officers in the association and promised them the needed assistance; and also will tap their long service experience when the need arises.

He entreated members of the association to join in the fight against disasters and sensitise the public on the menace of fire outbreaks in the region.

Mr Thomas Tuffuor, Vice Chairman and retired Assistant Chief Fire Officer of the GNFS, on behalf of the 60 retired officers of the association thanked the regional fire commander for the facility.**
