Reroy Group partners La Tradition Council

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) we at Reroy Group Ltd an indigenous cable manufacturing giant have taken keen interest in working exclusively with the Traditional Institutions in the country by helping them with face uplift to regain the lost confidence some of the people have in our Traditional Institutions.

In this regard, we had extensive consultation with key personalities within the LA Tradition Council to see how far we can support the face uplift of the Traditional Council.

In this development Reroy on Wednesday 15th, August 2018 donated some of our quality locally manufactured Cables and Wiring accessories namely Cables, switches and sockets, reflectors, helmet, and paints to the LA Traditional Council to help them refurbish part of the La Mantse’s Palace that got burnt some months ago.

As part of plans to help the youth in La Traditional Area Reroy has collated data of all Electrical-wiring Practitioners who have been duly certified by the Energy Commission and are indigenes’ in the community to help them get Jobs. The reason for this initiative is to help the Certified Wiring Practitioners get regular jobs from our numerous customers we transact business with as, on a daily basis who require the services of Certified Wiring Practitioners to do wiring on their facilities.

Reroy has also put in place measures to register all electricians within the locality who have not yet been certified by Energy Commission to get them Certified by Energy Commission to help regulate their activities as Wiring Practitioners and also offer internship opportunities to interested youth in LA to help reduce social vices in the community and help to bring an end to the recent tramadol abuse in the locality.

Reroy Group Limited in addition to the donation presented Schnapps, Bags of Maize and Cash amount of GHC 4,500.00 to La Traditional Council towards the commemoration of this year’s Homowo.

Nii Ododtei Adjei, LA Jaasetse who received the items on behalf of the Traditional Council expressed his profound gratitude to Reroy Group for supporting the celebration of the 2018 Homowo.

Nii Ododtei Adjei, LA Jaasetse welcomed the decision of the infrastructure Arm of Reroy that has expressed interest in partnering with the distinguished Traditional Council to help restore the lost beauty of the LA Township by redeveloping some existing National Infrastructure facilities within their precinct to help them generate enough revenue to help support the growth of the LA Township.
