Quainoo Arthur confirmed as new Mfantseman DCE

Saltpond(C/R), Oct. 4, GNA - Mr Robert Quainoo Arthur, 42, Manager of Quality Insurance Company was on Friday confirmed as the new DCE for Mfantseman. He succeeded Mr Kofi Wilson who was relieve of the post in March this year. Out of 65 assembly members who were present at polling 62 voted in his favour, two against and one ballot was rejected. The election was supervised by Mr Mark Anyimadu, Central Regional Electoral Officer and was assisted by the Mfantseman District electoral staff. Mr Kwesi Ankomah of the Officer of the President, Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Deputy Minister or Information, Mrs Comfort Owusu, and Jacob Arthur MP for Mfantseman East and West respectively and Mr Joseph Boahene Aidoo, Western Regional Minister who now holds oversight responsibility for Central Region took turns to give pieces of advice to the new DCE.
