Projects commissioned in Jomoro District

Jaway Wharf (W/R) October 17, GNA- A three-classroom block including an office and a store, valued at 119 million cedis has been commissioned for Jaway Wharf Islamic Basic School at Jaway in the Western Region. Mr Kojo Armah, District Chief Executive for Nzema East told the people that the school is for all children irrespective of their religious background.

He advised them to maintain the project to ensure a longer life span.

A 32.6 million cedis six-seater toilet and three urinals for Samenye basic schools also in the Jomoro district were also commissioned. The East Nzema District Assembly funded the projects.

Mr Abdallah Sualih, headmaster of the school, stressed the need for parents to send their children to school in order to improve their lives.
