Private company renovates Nsawam District police garage

Nsawam, July 7, GNA - Bomarts Farm Limited, a private company of Ankwah Doblo near Nsawam in the Akuapem South Municipality, has renovated car park sheds for the Nsawam District Police Command.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony of the project, Mr Daniel Asherow, General Manager of the company said the project was the Company's contribution to assist the Police in the District to have a nice parking place for their vehicles.

Mr Asherow said parking their vehicles in an open place was not the best and expressed the hope that renovating the parking lot would prevent the vehicles from rusting due to over-exposure.

He said the Company had also renovated a pavilion for Akoteaku D/A Basic School in the area to enhance better teaching and learning. The General Manager said the Company had cleared a huge refuse dump at Nsuobiri to improve upon sanitation in the community.

The District police Commander of Nsawam, Superintendent Samuel Buabeng commended the Company for their support and appealed to other organisations and NGOs to come to their aid in the renovation of the police barracks.
