Primalux Limited donates paint to GNFS

Tema, Aug. 20, GNA - The Tema Regional Office of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) on Thursday received a donation of 48 buckets of acrylic emulsion paint valued at GH¢950.00 The paint presented by Primalux Limited, producers of industrial and decorative paints, would be used to beautify the premises of the fire station. Mr Henry Adansi-Pipim, Sales Manager of Primalux presenting the items, said the gesture was in appreciation of the numerous fire safety educations given to the staff of the company by the GNFS.

Mr Adansi-Pipim said the training had impacted positively on their operations, as "staffs adhere to basic fire safety measures." He stated that the donation was necessitated by the unattractive state of the regional fire building. Divisional Officer Grade One Kwabena Taah Korang, Tema Regional Fire Officer, received the items and thanked the company for the gesture. He urged other organizations to emulate that shining example by Primalux Limited.

Mr Korang gave the assurance that the Service would continue with its fire safety educations to create a fire free environment for industries operating in the Metropolis. He indicated that such educations had drastically reduced fire outbreaks in the industries, markets and households among others.
