Prestea Hunni-Valley Assembly to adopt GGL 3C Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal, Hon. Mozart Kweku Owuh has pledged to adopt the Damang Goldfields Cleanest Community Competition to be implemented in all communities in the District.

To that end, a paper would be laid in the House at its next general meeting to make it binding for the project to be implemented in all communities in the District.

Speaking as Guest of Honor at the Goldfields 3C project, Mr Owuh said everything about the 3C project was awesome and needed to be adopted in all the communities within the District.

To him, he was not surprised Damang GGL had introduced the 3C project. This is because, everything that has to do with the health of its communities, Goldfields Damnaghas been outstanding.

“Damang GGL are the pacesetters in community development. First among equals”, he said.


Hon. Mozart Kweku Owuh told the gathering that sanitation was a way of life expressed in the way people, neighbourhood and community lived.

Sanitation is not just sweeping our houses. It has extended to our neighbourhood, business and communities.

To that end, sanitation was not the sole responsibility of District Assemblies but everybody.

‘If we can all agree to do away with filth, then we can confidently say goodbye to diseases’.
