Police commended for traffic control in Koforidua

Koforidua, Jan. 03, GNA-The Eastern Regional Police Command has been commended for the efficient manner it supervised vehicular

traffic control in the Koforidua Municipality during the Christmas and New Year festivities.

Mr Solomon Djaba-Mensah, a former Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), noted that

the effort of the Police made traffic to flow to the admiration of all.

In a letter of commendation to the Police, a copy of which was made available to the Ghana News Agency in Koforidua, Mr Djaba-Mensah indicated that the presence of the Koforidua Polytechnic and the All Nations University had increased the population of the Koforidua Municipality.

He said that had also attracted a number of traders into the town.
