Paul Addai buried

Ntribuoho (Ash), Sept 2, GNA - Burial took place at Ntribuoho in the Kwabre district of Mr Paul Addai, a philanthropist popularly known as 'Addai cutlass', Managing Director of Addai Cutlass Company Limited on Thursday.

Mr Addai 75, died on July 22 this year, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

He devoted greater part of his life to help his community and humanity, constructed two roads from Ntribuoho to link Achiase in the Atwima district and Sasa.

Mr Addai also sponsored the provision of water supply and electricity to Ntribuoho, built a church and purchased musical instruments for the Presbyterian Church in the community.

He also constructed a four-classroom JSS for the town and supplied cutlasses annually to farmers in the area.

The Right Reverend Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Anglican Bishop of Kumasi, in a sermon at the burial service, urged his successor emulate his good deeds.

Rt-Rev. Yinkah-Sarfo called for peace and unity in the family. Final funeral rites will be held at the Jackson's Park in Kumasi on Saturday, September 3.

He left behind a wife and 24 children.
