Apostle Mrs Felicia Bonaparte, District Head of the Divine Healers Church, Greater Accra Region A1, has admonished parents to conscientiously instil Godly character into their children.

“Train the child the way he should go and when he grows, he will not depart from it, is something we ought to do with all our might,” she stressed.

Apostle Bonaparte made this on the Children’s Day Graduation of a four- Day Convention held on the theme: “Come unto me and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28,” in Accra.

A total membership of 243 teenagers from 15-17 was graduated from the Children and Redeemers Movement to the Youth Ministry.

Some of the assemblies in the district include Korle Gonno, Kaneshie, Kwashieman, Kasoa and Accra New town.

Addressing the grandaunts, Apostle Bonaparte urged them “to work their life in God by hearkening to the voice of God through their parents and the older generation”.

She said humility and obedience is one of the surest ways to receive guidance from God as they see to the progress of the work of the vineyard.

She advised the children to desist from deviant behaviours as adolescents so not to invite the wrath of God.

“Doing what your flesh dictates to you at this stage will affect your tomorrow irrespective of where you find yourself in the future, so always get ready to learn to mould for yourselves a better future,” Apostle Bonaparte added.

She therefore advised the youth to build their own future so as to grow to be good citizens of the community, the nation and ultimately the world.
