Owusu-Agyei commended for spearheading Effutu's development

Winneba (C/R), July 17, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives in Winneba and its surrounding communities at the weekend expressed their satisfaction at the tireless efforts exhibited by Mr Samuel Kofi Owusu-Agyei, Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, to speed up the development of the Effutu Constituency.

At their quarterly appraisal meeting at Winneba on Saturday, the officers commended Mr Owusu-Agyei for leading in the extension of electricity to almost all the communities in the Effutu traditional area within the past three years.

Besides, the MP who is also a Deputy Minister of Health had provided some vital equipment towards the running of the Winneba Government Hospital and organized free medical services to over 2,000 needy people in the area.

Furthermore, Mr Owusu-Agyei offered scholarships to a number of brilliant but needy student in the constituency to further their education in secondary, teacher training and nursing training institutions.

The meeting renewed members' support and co-operation for the MP to enable him to provide the electorate with more social amenities. The officers included Mr Charles Acquah-Sampson, Mr Crosby Asmah, Mr Kwame Bondze, Mr K Donkor, Mr K Nimoh, Mr J K Swatson, Mr Johnson Noonoo, Madam Ama Attah, and Mr George K Robertson. They pledged to mobilize members of their respective communities and zones to undertake more self-help projects and weekly clean-up exercises.
