Those immunized were from Abrenya, Nkurakan, Abrusu-Atifi and Abrasuso communities, Mr John Boafo, leader of the immunization team told the Ghana News Agency.

Mr Boafo called for intensified public education, especially among rural communities to create the necessary awareness on the programme to ensure that all eligible children were immunized.
