A large number of people were injured in the rainstorm, while it rendered about 600 people homeless.

This was made known at Bussie on Thursday, by Mr Timothy Dombo, Upper West Regional Co-ordinator of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) when the Regional Minister, Mr Ambrose Dery visited Bussie to console the victims and to assure them of assistance from non-governmental organisations and other agencies.
