The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has appointed Nana Twumasi Ankrah as his Chief of Staff effective 1st October 2018.

Nana Twumasi Ankrah (known in private life as Mr. Isaac Kofi Amoah) had his secondary school education at Mfantsipim School, Cape Coast, obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon and Postgraduate Degree (MSc) in Business Systems Analysis & Design from the City University, London, UK. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in good standing and a Certified Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner.

Nana Twumasi Ankrah has worked at various reputable organizations spanning a period of over 20 years, including First Data Resources (FDR) (USA and UK), American Express (UK), Ford Credit (UK), Lloyds TSB (UK), Unisys (UK) and Siemens Business Services (UK). Upon his return to Ghana in 2005, he worked as the Executive Secretary to the Okyeman Environmental Foundation (OEF) for three years where he successfully executed a World Bank funded conservation project.

Over the last 10 years, Nana Twumasi Ankrah worked at the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS – A wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Ghana) variously as an IT Consultant, Head of MIS and Clearing, Head of Strategic Programs and also as President of the National Clearing House. Among other achievements, he successfully project managed the implementation of the migration of magnetic stripe cards to (EMV) chip and pin cards and the implementation of the upgrade of hardware infrastructure and software application of the Clearing House Systems across all Banks nationwide.

Nana Twumasi Ankrah initially served as an executive member, and then as President of the Akyem Abuakwa Susubiribi Association (UK and Ireland) from 2000 to 2002 and has been the Kyidomhene of Osino, in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area since 2001.

Nana Twumasi Ankrah brings ample executive, cultural and diplomatic experience to serve in his new role. It is with great pleasure that Okyeman welcomes Nana Twumasi Ankrah as His Majesty Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin’s new Chief of Staff.
