Okatakyie Kudom urges Mahama to remain focused

Okatakyie Agyeman Kudom IV, Omanhene of Nkoranza Traditional Area, has urged President John Dramani Mahama to remain focused and pursue the country’s development agenda.

He stressed the need for Ministers of State, and government appointees entrusted with various responsibilities with regard to the country’s development to render selfless and dedicated services for the success of the Better Ghana Agenda.

Okatakyie Agyeman Kudom made the call when a delegation from four Municipal and District Assemblies within the traditional area paid a courtesy call on him at Nkoranza.

They were, Nkoranza Municipality, Nkoranza North, Kintampo Municipality and Kintampo South.

He expressed concern about the criticisms on the government’s policies and programmes and said “Unless President Mahama remained focused and goes ahead with his plans for the country, he would be confused by the utterances from the people and cannot rule efficiently and effectively.”

Mr Akrapim Baffoe, Presiding Member of Nkoranza Municipal Assembly who led the delegation, presented a bull, some assorted drinks and some money to the chief towards the celebration of this year’s Munufie Kese Yam Festival.
