Obuasi: Business Curfew Imposed on Drinking Pubs.

The Obuasi Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi has in a circular ordered owners of Drinking pubs and Night Clubs in the Municipality to close their establishments exactly at 11pm during holidays and Weekends.
This current security order comes after recent clashes between two factions that led to the untimely death of a young man last weekend a t a night club in Anyinam, a suburb of Obuasi.

Defaulters will be prosecuted.

No Curfew in Obuasi.

Mr. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi was quick to debunk rumours going round about a curfew been imposed on the municipality after yesterday’s disturbances that saw the Obuasi Municipal Assembly vandalized together with other political party offices in both Obuasi East and West Constituencies by sections of Small Scale miners who were demonstrating.
