A popular Twi news anchor with Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM, Nana Akwasi Owusu Achiaw, has reportedly passed away.

According to available information, the respected broadcaster died in the early hours of Friday after suddenly falling ill.

He was rushed to the hospital at about 6:45 a.m. but was pronounced dead shortly after admission.
