Nkoranza NDC members urged to forge unity

Mr Owusu Baffoe, Chairman of Nkoranza constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has advised members of the party to guard against gossiping, backbiting and petty squabbles to avoid differences amongst them.

Mr Owusu Baffoe was addressing the Executive Members of the party at an emergency meeting at Nkoranza at the weekend to discuss problems facing the party in the constituency and how to address them.

He deplored the negative practice of members, who spread false information about the Executive Members, saying the practice could give their opponents the chance to ridicule them.

The Party Chairman advised them not to divulge party matters in public to enable them to jointly maintain and develop the party in the area.

Mr Baffoe urged members to lead unblemished lives and to obey the laws of the country to avoid putting the name of the party into disrepute.

Mr Hayford Francis Amoako, NDC Member of Parliament for the area, urged the members to remain faithful to the party and not to allow themselves to be deceived by politicians.

He advised the Executives to frequently visit the zonal centres to rekindle members' spirit to continue to support the party.

Party members should share ideas and address problems facing them to ensure that the party grew from strength to strength.

Mr Thomas Owusu-Ansah, Constituency Secretary, urged the zonal secretariat to submit regular reports to the constituency headquarters for the necessary attention.

Miss Esther Owusu Baffoe, Constituency Women's Organizer, urged other women organizers to intensify their efforts to win over more women into the party.
