Nii Okunim Adamah made chief of Dome Faase

Dome Faase, a farming community in the Ga South Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, has outdoored , Nii Okunim Adamah as chief.

Also installed were Naa Dede Akumtua I, Queen; Nii Asani, Elder; Nii Amoah, Linguist; Naa Yanyeko, Stool Mother and Nii Okoe, Youth Leader.

Nii Adamah I, a teacher, known in private life as Mr Samuel Adamah Okine, said Dome Faase has been without a chief for a long time, which had affected the development of the community.

The new chief said he would work with colleague traditional rulers towards the development of Dome Faase, and pledged that he would provide the people with portable water.

Nii Adamah said he would tackle the issue of sand winning in the area because it has destroyed land, affected economic activities, without any compensation, making the people poor.

Nii Adamah appealed to prospective investors and developers to contact the rightful custodians of land in the area, for proper transactions instead of relying on unscrupulous individuals and groups.

Nii Quarcoo, an Elder at the Palace of James Town Mantse, Obrempong Nii Kojo Ababio, advised the new traditional rulers not to lord it over their people, but to consult them in the planning of the community.
