Narh-Bita Nursing School receives support

Tema, July 29, GNA -- The Narh-Bita Nursing School based in Tema, on Friday received medical equipment worth over 18 million cedis from some students from the Copenhagen County School of Nursing and Radiology in Denmark. The students are in the country for an exchange programme with the Narh Bita Nursing School.

The donation included resuscitation equipment, disinfectants, bandages, theatre equipment, first Aid books as well as stationeries. According to Mr Christian Meyer Nelson, the leader of the group the two schools, during their exchange programmes would hold some workshops where students will interact so that everybody could benefit from each others ideas. The Vice Principal of the School, Mrs Comfort Afram thanked the students for the gesture and hoped the collaboration between the two schools would be maintained.
