The publication would become the platform for the cross-fertilization of ideas, investment promotion, tourism development, cultural reawakening and socio-economic empowerment. She said 67 US aided development projects were being executed in the region in health, education, water and sanitation sectors as well as cultural exchange programmes.

Miss Bridgewater entreated the people to harness both human and material resources toward the improvement of agriculture and housing sectors and urged the people to support the NGO to achieve its objectives.

Miss Elizabeth Ohene, Minister of State, called on the people to contribute to national development and refrain from thinking of being marginalized.
