NGO builds capacity of Nabdam Assembly members

Better Life Aid and Tours, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has built the capacity of assembly members and staff in the Nabdam District of the Upper East Region.

The areas covered included Leadership and Community Development training and Mobilization of Revenue and Roles and Responsibilities of Assembly members.

The District Chief Executive, Vivian Anafo, commended the NGO and entreated the participants to take the programmes serious, stressing that “Better Life Aid and Tours took it upon themselves to assist the newly developed Assembly with much needed support”.

An international industry professional from Australia, Monique Power alongside a Ghanaian renowned Specialist in the subject areas, Christopher Akaligang took the participants through the topics.

Better Life Aid and Tours Coordinator in charge of Upper East Region and currently the Acting Director, Mike Zuri, who expressed happiness about the programmes and hoped the NGO, continued the partnership to accelerate development.

The Assembly members, who were full of praises for the project, indicated they would put the knowledge acquired to good use.
