Ministry supports Breman Traditional Council

Breman Asikuma (C/R), May 19, GNA - The Breman Asikuma Traditional Council has received 200 bags of cement from the Ministry for Local Government, Rural Development and Environment as an assistance to complete the expansion works of its palace building. Making the presentation at a ceremony at Breman Asikuma, Mr Emmanuel Adjei Domson, the District Chief Executive (DCE) on behalf of the Ministry said the donation was its part of compassion to support the Traditional Council, which have limited resources to complete the Palace project it is undertaking effectively.

Mr Domson announced that the Ministry has expressed the desire to see to it that the project is completed on time and assured the Council to equip it with modern equipment to raise it to the status of other Traditional Councils in the country. He added that, the Asikuma-Oboben-Brakwa District Assembly would organise an investment forum to deliberate on how to alleviate poverty in the District and call on the chiefs and entire people of the District to attend.

Receiving the cement on the behalf of the Traditional Council, Nana Amoakwa Buadu VII, Omanhene of Breman Asikuma and the President of the Council, thanked the Ministry for coming to their aid. He appealed to other organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations and individuals to come to their aid by helping the Traditional Council to complete the project on time.
