The five vehicles purchased with assistance from the GETFUND are to ease the burden of transportation as well as help in the day-to-day administration.

Three of the schools are in Accra while the remaining two are for schools in the Central Region.

The schools, which benefited from the first tranche, were Accra Girls Secondary, West Africa Secondary and St. Mary's Secondary schools. Mr Ampofo Twumasi said government had started negotiations with the public procurement board for the release of 200 buses to be presented to schools nationwide.
