Mason donates to school

Tankor (B/A) Oct. 25, GNA -- Mr. Simom Ameyaw, a citizen of Tankor near Nkoanza has presented a wall clock, 2 ludos and 6 towels to the staff and people of the local Methodist primary school in the area to enhance education in the community.

Mr. Ameyaw also a mason said his offer was in appreciation of the efforts of the past and present teachers of the school when he attended Tankor Methodist primary school. He pleaded with the staff of the school to handle and train the children entrusted to their care in the same way as their own children to enable them grow to become useful citizens.

He called on parents to be cordial with the teachers and visit them in the schools to encourage them to render active services to promote education in the community.

Mr. Ameyaw advised the pupils to be punctual to school and take their education very serious so that they would, in future acquire employment.

Madam Grace Anane, head teacher of the school appreciated the kind donation of Mr. Ameyaw and described him as a concerned citizen, who catered for the welfare of the children of his community. Madam Anane wished the donor God's blessings and successes in his economic ventures in order that he would always provide more of such items to promote the growth of the school.

The head teacher called on other citizens of the area to emulate Mr. Ameyaw to help develop the school.
